Set up is a breeze

[Mr. S. Helps stabilize the gutters]
We set up four racing lanes / gutters.

Cleanup On Aisle 7

[We spilled a lane]
We spilled a lane or two, so we raced two-lane heats, single-elimination, by age/rank

Can I Have Your Attention Please?

[Time to race]
Our Master of Ceremonies for the evening, calls an end to practice time.

Well Blow Me Down!

[Time to race]
The single-hulled Regatta boats weren't always stable. The boat in the top lane has capsized.

I'll Huff, and I'll Puff

[Blowing the boats down the gutter.]
The object is simple: Blow on the sail, and be the first to reach the other end of the gutter...

The Boat Stops Here

[Three Tigers at the finish line]
...the finish line.

The Wolves Get Organized

[The Wolves Get Ready Organized]
The Wolves get ready to race.

The Waiting Is The Hardest Part

[Racers wait for starters orders]
Two Wolves all set to race.

On Your Marks, Get Set, Blow!

[A race gets underway]
It was hard to blow the boat straight down the gutter. Some of the boats liked to tack on their own.

Bear Vs. Webelos 1

[A Bear Scout races against a Webelos 1 Scout]
We grouped the Bear (only one bear boat made it to the Regatta) with the Webelos 1 scouts.

In The Zone

[The racers are concentrating herd, and blocking out the noise around them]
The Scouts display laser-like focus.

Time to Catch His Breath

[A Satisfied Smile]
The winning boat advances to race again.

A Captivated Audience

[A Webelos 1 heat]
There was lots of yelling and cheering during every race. All of the scouts displayed tremendous sportsmanship and commraderie.
